21st Annual Home & Garden Tour - Wednesday, July 9, 2008

VNA Hospice of Southern Carroll County and Vicinity is hosting the 21st Annual Home and Garden Tour

in Wolfeboro, NH on Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 from 10:00AM to 4:00 PM.  Four attractive lake homes

on four different lakes will be open to the public.  Tour guides will be available to answer questions and comment on items of special interest.  Tickets are $35.00 per person for the tour.  An optional

luncheon @ $15.00 per person will be held at the Brewster Academy Boathouse in Wolfeboro. 

Tickets for both events are limited and can be purchased at Black's Gift Shop & Paper Store in Wolfeboro starting June 13th, 2008.  To order by mail, tickets can be purchased by calling 603-569-6208.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Hospice program.

"You Make the Difference" - July 9th to August 27

Good Beginnings of VNA-Hospice, the Wolfeboro Area Children's Center and Even Start will sponsor a series "You Make the Difference" for parents of children age birth to 5 years.  The course will be held on Wednesday evenings from July 9th to August 27 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Wolfeboro Area Children's Center.  There is no cost for the series and light refreshments will be served.

The course provides families education and activities to help them understand how they make a difference in their child by promoting language development, helping them feel good about themselves and getting their learning off to a good start.
